How our data is populated

CLEARIE uses official public sources, standards bodies, regulated-source publications, licensed or partner datasets where applicable, and customer-provided data where contractually supplied.

We do not expose source credentials, scraper internals, or customer-specific records in public documentation or sandbox responses.

Scheduled source adapters fetch raw HTML, PDF, XML, API, and tabular data based on each source's structure. Every source version is captured with URL, hash, fetch time, issue/effective dates where available, and parser evidence.

Source records are versioned before publication so downstream API responses can be traced back to the data state that produced them.

Raw records are mapped into canonical schemas for HSN, ITC-HS, locations, countries, currencies, states, UQC, packages, schemes, events, regulatory instruments, and sanctions screening.

The pipeline deduplicates records, standardizes codes and aliases, normalizes Indian state/GST identifiers, and separates live production data from reduced sandbox data.

Before publication, datasets must pass freshness, coverage, exact sample resolvability, empty-response regression, and citation-completeness checks.

If a domain fails a blocking check, CLEARIE fails closed for that data instead of silently returning fabricated production rows.

AI is used only after deterministic extraction and retrieval have produced source evidence. It assists with summaries, impact mapping, ambiguity triage, and customer-readable implications.

If verified citations are unavailable, AI endpoints refuse the answer rather than generating unsupported trade guidance.

Sandbox responses are synthetic, reduced, or redacted. They are intentionally representative for integration testing and never contain real customer records.

Sandbox examples are deterministic so CI pipelines and developer tests can assert stable responses.

We apply data minimization, provenance, access control, retention, and privacy safeguards aligned with applicable Indian law and customer contract requirements.
